iSimangaliso Wetland Park
Brief
The project brief tasked us with developing a new visual identity for iSimangaliso Wetland Park, focusing on capturing the park’s dynamic ecosystems and promoting its conservation efforts. The goal was to create a cohesive and engaging brand experience that reflects the park’s natural beauty and biodiversity, attracts a broad audience, and supports sustainable tourism.
Rationale
In response to the brief, the concept of “Vitality” was chosen to encapsulate the life-giving and energetic qualities of iSimangaliso Wetland Park. This concept guided the creation of a vibrant visual identity that includes dynamic colours, natural imagery, and consistent design elements. The new logo, inspired by the flowing water and lush vegetation of the park, symbolizes movement and renewal. Additionally, a comprehensive multi-page website, multiple Instagram stories, carousel posts, and a motion infographic were developed to showcase the park’s unique features and conservation efforts. These deliverables aim to engage and educate visitors, encouraging them to explore and appreciate the park’s natural wonders while supporting its mission to protect and preserve its ecosystems.
